Chameleon Man - First rule of investment - don’t lose money! I think you have broken your own rule with your other investment, hopefully that will improve because BCN surely will.
80p to 36p but recently 18p to 36p
Well......80p to 36p in just a year with BCN is nothing to boast about? We will soon know if the Gangfeng deal will go through. If it does, I will indeed cash out with whatever gain is available as I don’t see much further upside for PIs long term with the Deal as described. Hopefully will sell at about 50p? If the Deal doesn’t go through, and no further funding on offer, I believe this will plunge to single figures. That’s why I got my stake off the table pdq. First rule of investment - don’t lose money!
Yes tomcat. I was thinking the same. Why mess about with spodumene when you can get as much battery grade material out of Sonora, easier and far cheaper.
i’m taking that as another indicator that the ganfeng deal will close... and their focus will move to mexico...
there are likely to be casualties... when sonora’s cheaper and far superior product gets to market...
Yawn..go and get a room with Trisse! Or take your free shares and invest in Sav? No point having them in here just because they're free. Just think, put them all in Sav and that might be about what, 6p in a years time on recent performance...
Ah, someone else who agrees with Trisse! I also have deep reservations about Gangfeng. They made an offtake deal with Pilbarra for spodumene but have not yet built the processing capacity. Their strategy seems to be to grab capacity as quickly as possible to keep competitors out. As a result Pilbarra is suffering. “Pilbara Minerals shares are down 5.7 per cent to 67 cents after it told the market it will slow production because of delays in China constructing factories to convert spodumene to lithium. In particular, two of Pilbara's customers, General Lithium and Ganfeng have seen delays in their "conversion capacity".
5% down on a 50% over a week, i think is fine doesnt need panicking, but like posted yesterday, cant remember the name and too lazy to look for it, i agree with him, ganfeng robbed bcn
