probably explains why Mr. T chose to keep the 23.44% and not sell it down.
yep agree, in a zinc rich area where we have already bagged a maiden 5.1mt of high grade at shallow depth there's a decent chance will find more. That'll be the reasoning why the giant Glencore bid for it. When not if comes to mind.
Auc, i would not have a substantial investment here if Teeling was overseeing the Stonepark drilling. I'm confident that if we have more high grade zinc on our tenement G11 will find it. Given what we know about Stonepark and the surrounding areas i would say we have a better than evens chance of a decent outcome, certainly when our mcap is only £2M!
Anyway, still waiting for a response to my email regarding our 2 (100%) owned gold projects....
Made me chuckle! Teeling's apparent inaction could well drive me to drink......
Bloody weird predictive typo that “ inebriate” lolz. Apologies. Was supposed to say “one “
You’re not the only inebriate who doesn’t always get replies lolz. In fairness quite al % of companies r like that these days
If only the company were as active in answering questions from investors as they are at posting fairly meaningless (and boring?) tweets. Still no response to what I thought were legitimate questions about Mine River (outstanding drilling results awaited?) & when drilling is due to commence at Inishowen ('spring'?)
I'm happy that G11 are overseeing the Stonepark drilling as they seem a professional outfit. Teeling is hopeless imo (no response as expected to my email lol) but cannot imagine he will turn down any sensible offer from G11/Glencore for our share of the project. He is running out of time to commence the 'Spring' drilling campaign at Inishowen....
Maybe Mr. T is prioritising the Zinc over the gold. Going all in on it. That’s the crown jewel that’s where his big pay off would come from. Keeping funds back in case another round of drilling reqd.
I think the massive increase in the value of Zinc makes the 5.1 even more attractive even without an increase from the current drill. We know there has been previous interest and a bid.
Zinc prices up can only help, and probably likely increase the chances of another, improved offer.
Over 1.6m buys and only 200k sells and we're over 6% down. What is that all about.....
Looks like I'm not the only buyer, someone else has just picked up 500k worth. Would be nice to have a run up to 1p before Stonepark news.....
Well, we know what we currently have at Stonepark (Inferred Mineral Resource totalling 5.1 million tonnes at 11.3% zinc and lead combined (8.7% Zn and 2.6% Pb)) and we have seen what others hold in the vicinity to our licence (e.g. Glencore/Pallas Green). Is there enough from the results of the latest drilling to attract an offer for our share of the project? At this level (mcap £2.4m!) its worth a gamble imo. And then we have our 2 (100%) owned gold projects at Mine River & Inishowen......
You beat me to it great stuff. Hopefully will prompt an RNS
Near 3%, wow.
In the meantime bought a few more (not showing yet) as I get closer to the 3% reporting threshold......
I've emailed the company asking,
are we awaiting any further drilling results from Mine River?
when are we commencing the next drilling campaign at Inishowen? and
confirmation that drilling is complete at Stonepark and we're waiting for the results via G11
Not expecting a response lol
i remember hearing something maybe back end of last year probably an interview about awaiting the latest permits for the next round of Gold drilling. (a formality I assume)
or did i dream it.
30 Sep 21 RNS: 'The future looks bright. We are going to continue our investment in gold and zinc exploration. We have adequate funds to meet current and expected exploration expenditure.'
I'm assuming this covered the next drilling programme at Inishowen as well as the current exploration at Stonepark. The trouble with Teeling is that he is a crap communicator so we're always left guessing....
I think Mr T has a big desicion to make wen the latest drill results land. Look for a buyer or stick with it.
I’m happy to wait as I think it’s just a matter of time before 5.1 gets upped. But equally would be happy with a near term bagging sale
Ur right on gold x2 running behind comprehensive update reqd.
I can only think either the backlog on lab time has impacted it, but come on 6months? Or results from that particular drill was poor so didn’t bother.
Bit of a weird one that at mine river.
Re restarting the gold drills maybe was wait8ng for the funds from recent warrant excercise.
Mine River (RNS 21 November 2021): 'Drilling has now ceased for 2021. Results from the last hole are expected within the coming weeks' Did we ever get these results?
Inishowen: Next drilling programme expected to commence in the 'Spring'. What is happening?
Stonepark: We're just now waiting for G11 to publish the results of the latest drilling campaign. Let's just hope they are sufficiently good to elicit a bid for our share of the asset....
