Plus Hound - if Glen has a disagreement with the BOD why would he want to vote for them?
Hound the vote that went against JB was in the past. I suspect the "36% " aren't stupid. This current BOD has done zilch for the SP. Hell they cannot even string a shareholder meeting together and talk through the finances with any conviction.
Do you honestly think a large portion of shareholders would think this BOD offers the best future for the company? I just cannot see it. I may be wrong and I guess I won't find out until 07:00 on AGM day. Plus now that Glen has gone their ACE there is even less reason to vote for this BOD.
and you think JB didn't know that before he declared war ?
Hunniford,
If they know of the other voting, lets say the 2 x BOD’d.
The numpties have been voted out, can’t be a close call? The fxxx up by CFO. cannot go ignored.
If would be better if they resigned to save a red face on day?
Hounddog
You are convinced JB will lose because II's voted against him last time
Do you think JB he has gone through all this with his fingers crossed PI's will like him enough to get him back in? with the selling down at a huge loss and egg on his face if he didn't get in or maybe he's a little brighter than you give him credit for and he's been working behind the scenes for months
Think about it . Founder and multi millionaire gets beat AGAIN by inept board or Founder of Amigo gets back him to save his baby from the suits
Which is most likely ?
Yes it would be great if GC did vote against the BOD, but I don’t think we would know either way, as I’m guessing voting is confidential??
Opinions are like ar53holes, everyone has got one.
I don't think JB can say anything about Glen even if he knows (he has still not won the vote) technically he shouldn't know yet either since he's not even a shareholder (apparently). If he did that would be a tremendous abuse of insider information. I suspect GC & JB (if they ever do speak again) will not speak until after the vote, probably too risky.
Sadly we have to read between the lines on what is going on. The only positive we have is what the market is telling us. For some reason we are being told the departure of one of the key people is good.
I suspect Glen wanted to go before the shareholder vote was complete but the BOD wouldn't allow him to make an announcement until today until after the voting had more or less closed. Another reason why I voted against this BOD.
I was just kidding Tim, I know you are flying:))
I wish I was a numb skull in JB and GC’s heads tonight.
Hoping GC votes against the BOD, he has until Sunday to do this
JB’s intial tweet was spot respponse:
regarding FCA approval required, the BS the current BOD seems to spout BUT NEVER about themselves.
I assume now in the AGM - they may announce FCA approvals (they must know approval is days away or known.
Last theory on GC, maybe he is fedup of both sides? And wants a return to quieter life?
I’m convince JB is winning the vote hands down, he has to be, if the current BOD wins now were in trouble.
This is I’m sure of the back of the way the vote is going, surely it suggests JBs winning .
Lol no I’m positive, sorry just trying to make sense of it.
Yea things are looking good, I just wanted opinions?
I think the price was on the up anyway before the news hit it was rising .
So lets see tomorrow, just filter the idiots people.
Come on JB get on Twitter and announce GC is on the JB team, then BOOM time
Aw well at least the BOD finally put out a positive RNS this week (at least as far as the market was concerned) no-one thought they would manage it. Got to give them some credit for that :o)
Hell if I could still vote, perhaps i'd.....
JB’s novel ..lol
Funny Hunniford
Stop worrying Tim, try a bit of yoga fella...lol
This is Netflix without playback and a fee.
Hunniford you love boardroom battles, any advice to Tim? He can’t handle one!!
6.66% is a fair whack.
28m shares and nothing to show but a loss?!
Even some on here are in profit.
If he worked with JB he could be worth well over £100m within. 2/3years with 6.66%.
Who knows even takeover another organisation with cash.
Oh I hope it is what we think JB conform this on Twitter please, other wise I’m still worried .
Richmond,
Thanks for keeping the positive thread titles - cheers!
They want to distract users to respond that what their aim on all boards.
Ignore

Or respond ONLY using ANY POSITIVE THREAD ongoing threads by users
NEVER a thread with their silly name on it!!
Fig it doesn't really make sense eh? I've always said if you hold that amount of stock in a company and have an opportunity to stay and drive the bus, you would stay wouldn't you. for example if I own 6% and am the boss and screw it up then I only have myself to blame. But could you walk away and let someone else drive the bus?
That and the comments in JB's novel last night about these lads being screwed by investors and 3rd parties means there has got to be more to this.
This is what he said !
“ Glen tried to work with the board on a peaceful transition to good governance. I tried the same in January. It is a dead end.”
He’s referring as you can see to the efforts to get the board to change! Posting misleading information is against LSE rules be careful we’ve seen many get permanent bans for just this kind of thing!
Good point Hunniford: “ assume the BOD have the numbers from the votes and Glen would have seen these. Given his statement to not work with JB if JB had lost surely Glen stays?? With a 6% shareholding he ain't going to want to walk if JB doesn't win. That just wouldn't make sense? I wouldn't want to walk away leaving that amount of shares to the current numb skulls“
Numb skulls = The Beano :))
No he didn’t say that hound dog at all and you know it!
I know that but he hasn’t been appointed so why leave now
FAQ now outdated:
Glen Crawford has notified the Board that he is not prepared to work with Amigo in any circumstances where Mr Benamor returns to Amigo's board. Glen Crawford and the Board have already agreed that his resignation will automatically take effect if the resolution to appoint Mr Benamor to the Board is passed.
Look at it like this. The BOD put out an RNS that their Ace in the pack is departing and the share price goes up in a vertical line. What does that tell you?
Each time the share price has risen recently to any extent has been news surrounding Benamor (although true the 1% daily sale kept dragging it back down again).
The other significant rise was when the BOD put out an RNS to say they had enough cash to keep the biz trucking end of June /Jul
I hope this ends well. I do hold some worry as I just had a boardroom 5h1tshow on POG where the board (who were good) got ousted by one of their larger shareholders who previously said they would vote for the board. Totally blindsided. So I'm preparing myself for all eventualities.
My only concern is that JB doesn't have enough to win, particularly with Glen gone. However thinking it logically through. I assume the BOD have the numbers from the votes and Glen would have seen these. Given his statement to not work with JB if JB had lost surely Glen stays?? With a 6% shareholding he ain't going to want to walk if JB doesn't win. That just wouldn't make sense? I wouldn't want to walk away leaving that amount of shares to the current numb skulls.
The only other reasons I could think for Glen to walk is perhaps JB loses and there is a offer for the company coming. Glen disagrees with the Board on it so he goes. The offer gets tabled for the buyout. But this seems very unlikely.
Yes this morning Timmy before the drama unfolded just over 10p
