Really solid positive day, I like these creeping up days, looks like it will pop, ends up 3/4/5% up and no fireworks are felt, but do that three times a week and sit flat the other days and before you even notice you are 25% up and subtly creeping up! I hugely value just a 2% up day if the overall direction is up, get in early and collect ALL the gains
Hi ST - totally agree with you about today's news re CHAR. (Sorry, I thought you were referring to its forthcoming appraisal drilling). Anyway, it matters not, and back to ADV.
Have we established a new baseline around 3.5p?
Thanks ST - I think there's an element of risk in both ADV and CHAR. That's the nature of appraisal wells. ADV has a 85%-95% COS (depending on what you read) in relation to an existing oil basin/discovery. CHAR is drilling into PROVEN gas A& B sands* So, on the face of it, its hard to differentiate between them in terms of COS (and risk), but interested to hear views from others about this. I'm invested in both ADV and CHAR.
*CHAR will also then drill into unproven sands - with a COS ranging from 65% to 40% for these unproven sands. But even without these, if it proves up its main A&B sands, many feel optimistic that it will nonetheless have a commercial discovery with significant upside from the rest of the licence area.
CHAR has a VERY large placing overhang to clear before it makes any sustainable rise. Very similar to ADV in that sense.
Whatever people think of CHAR, there is no doubting that appraisal drilling of its Anchois well is going to be one of the biggest Events coming up on AIM this year. It will be huge if they prove up what they think they have there. Gas prices are also very high at the moment. All imo
imo CHAR have never been a game changer, dropping like a stone now
hopefully can snaffle some more sub 3.5p Has anyone seen the curveball RNS over at CHAR? Huge game changer there
As much as we are getting closer to spud, we are still enough weeks a way for when it ticks up like this mng, for the profit takers to change the tide. This may happen still for another 2 weeks or so. Tick up, profit take, tick back down. And then it will eventually stop, and just tick up a few weeks before spud. AIMO.
Price bouncing all over the place :-)
Looks like MM’s taking a 10% cut on these trades??
I’m on HL platform and can’t sell any amount above 5000 shares??
What’s going on there then??
Can't even buy £1k worth at the mo, but can sell loads at the offer prices. Looking ready for a good move upwards from here imo.
