interesting to read the various opinions on here relating to betting shop experiences. My family own a number of shop premises and are we about to let one of the high st units to Ladbrokes. I've never dealt with them before, my only other letting experience to the gaming sector has been with Wm Hill, formerly Mecca and they were pretty good but tough as nails when it came to rent reviews. LAD accounts are sound so happy on that side. Also, as an independant investor would I invest at around £2 a share, (I'll keep watching). atb Thanks, its always good to read these boards, there's always a little snip of info out there.

I did say when it reached its 52 week high it looked massively over valued. Obviously price was jacked up for institution sell off

Not sure interior has any bearing on where this is heading towards After all water stones made buying a book most enjoyable with Starbucks nice flooring etc but ultimately price determines and amazon sell x10 more books. Lad HAVE to go best odds in all high street shops and soon or the once strong hold it once had will slip further down the pecking order. Held these on and off along with Billy's for years but I just don't see a future for any of the high street bookies unless its an exchange platform. 5 years seems a long time from now but a new generation of gamblers with I phone are not gonna bet the old fashioned way that's for sure
