Please pull a rabbit out of the hat and keep max petroleum afloat. Us shareholders who have stood by max through thick and thin deserve some good news for a change.. I can't believe that all those wells we drilled in a year most of them a strike comes to nothing... Heres hoping
Me todays rns was as good as we could expect, feeling a little more confident something good will come out of this heres hoping anyway gla...
Spot on mate. Fingers crossed. At least we are not doomed yet. GLA
Who knows, you could be correct. Not looking good here. Strong sell - wish i could mate lol
(Double the current market cap) These lot are just a bunch of chancers hoping to get one final jolly up before the receivers all called in... There is absolutely no chance of this getting approved in my opinion.
If it was simply admin they would of said it, and could release more rns as and when the admin process is complete. The fact they have not suggests discussions are ongoing and a deal could be done. Very risky here, but max could be the comeback king if it can sort this mess out. The oil in the ground wont be worth much to a bank, but is to AGR, and with it the bank see a return on the loan. The account suspension is just a formaility, they would of known this was the consequence of not paying the tax bill, so it means little to me, as they were never going to pay it unless the deal gets done. A lot to sort out, but feeling it can be done.
"In the very near future" means not long now. I continue to keep fingers, toes and everything else very tightly crossed.
Quite possibly... maybe the delay is because they have asked for additional $6.5M "bridging" finance too? Either way, we should know pretty soon, as they cannot keep trading, with suspended bank accounts? Just don't know why they keep putting off Admin, if all is lost..
Its bad news...hope im wrong
Talk about hanging on to the grim death!!! Still a "reasonable chance" though, so keep that Fat Lady locked up until the very end. I'll join you in a large one :)
Well, we're all drinking in the last chance saloon... so make mine a large one!! No ADMIN yet though!
Could be Monday for the RNS. Let's hope so and hope it's good news. 4,500 barrels a day is too good a business to let go.
Is it good news???
Who knows? I prefer it not trading whilst we await the outcome, dont think my heart could take trying to figure out all the big buys and sells as to our future. Perhaps it will help focus some of the bigger players in max, as they cannot jump ship, or buy anymore if its good news either.
Tom randall in meetings, couldnt catch him despite several attenpts... Could a RNS be on the way !
at the risk of repeating my and other peoples thoughts, I still can't fathom why Max let trading continue for two weeks before suspending trade, following their 9th Feb RNS???
Email tom randall at max tr@maxpetroleum.net See if you can get anything out of him. You would assume good that we have not heard anything, which must mean discussions are ongoing and have not stopped/come to an end with admin being the result. We must hope they are still round the table discussing the deal. But no news has not been our friend with max, they could equally be using the silent time to wrap up the business to give to the admin guys.
Just a thought if we haven't heard anything for some time does everyone feel we could be there or there abouts or is it 50/50 ??? chin up who knows GLA
Cheers lads, ive put about a grand into one called tower resources, not mega bucks but it seems abit ropey so could be a nice win if it does go up.
How times change, roxi was the laughing stock, max had all the potential. They drilled the deep.. We are on brink of admin! $42m to not even finish one deep ... Roxi $11m; fiscal mismanagment
It flowed at 2000bpd for a short period of time until they shut it off again. We don't yet know if 2000bpd is sustainable or not. But yes the signs are very good. So to reiterate: buy RXP for an easy 100-200% profit in a 6-8 week time period ;-)
The well is commercial it flowed 2000 bpd and thats with the coil stuck drill bit and frigging shopping trolley
Price of oil won't matter in the short-term if RXP's A5 well is commercial (flow test due to start in next couple of weeks) or the other deep finds oil. Will be 100-200% profit easily. Don't have to wait for them to start selling oil just get out on the spike.
I'd recommend quindell. Although not all or nothing its a potential 3 bagger in the very near term. Brent looks like breaking $50 so the only oiler I would buy now is one of the big boys..... Poss tullow or bp
Roxi Petroleum (RXP) is as good a bet as any at the moment. One confirmed deep find but still to test for commerciality, and another under way results due April (but it's in an area that the Soviets previously found oil so the odds are good). Current SP approx 12p, SP on a confirmed commercial find 30-50p.
