Whole thing worth a listen, but CRH mentioned from 11 minutes onwards
What if a though was floated to made to make CRH a fully USA business, selling off the non US section.
Just a correction/ profit taking from all time highs in my opinion . It will stabilise soon enough unless the whole market declines due to concerns about worldwide events/ fears.
Has anyone ideas on why the continuous fall. 5 straight day losses ??
Dividend day tomorrow,
Has anybody had any luck with transferring shares from computershare US as i cannot find a single broker who will deal with them. So it appears i cannot transfer or sell them, i am at a loss as to what i can do?
SimplyWallSt's take:
Price target increased by 8.7% to UK£66.25
Up from UK£60.96, the current price target is an average from 18 analysts.
New target price is approximately in line with last closing price of UK£66.00.
Stock is up 55% over the past year.
The company is forecast to post earnings per share of US$5.18 for next year compared to US$4.39 last year.
UBS raises CRH price target to 7,525 (6,350) pence - 'buy'
7,525 or an additional 18% uplift target from UBS. The gift that keeps on giving from this robust well run company. Cake and eat it would be nice but give me sustainable share price growth v some extra divi every time.
I would expect the increase in market cap value/value per share more that offsets any decrease in shares outstanding.
It would be interesting to know the monetary value of amounts paid out in dividend this year compared to previous years. With the fall in share numbers the actual pay out could be less,

CRH

Dividend of US$0.35 announced
Shareholders will receive a dividend of US$0.35.

Dividend yield will be 2.1%, which is lower than the industry average of 4.4%.
Sustainability & Growth
Dividend is well covered by both earnings (31% earnings payout ratio) and cash flows (29% cash payout ratio).
The dividend has increased by an average of 4.8% per year over the past 10 years and has been stable with no material reductions to payments, indicating a long track record of dividend growth and stability.
EPS is expected to grow by 32% over the next 3 years, which should provide support to the dividend and adequate earnings cover.
Great results indeed. I too am disappointed and surprised by the small (5%) increase to the divi. Given their recent move to NYSE, I would have expected a more generous payout as US institutions tend to react more positively to such increases. But, having said that, I would still expect more upside this year as CRH gets more traction by their inclusion into the major US indexes.
Great results, do not like change to dividend payment schedule.
Agreed the continued share buyback program to treasury shows the confidence CRH has in its own performance. Less shares are available for everyone else day by day by day.
And now we’ve hit £60; that’s 20% up in just over 3 months
Good going and I reckon there’s more in the tank.
Sold some at $70, amazed at quick rise, has been in my portfolio for 25 years. Is it time to leave.
It was on the 1st December that I remarked that the SP had reached 50 quid. Now, 2 months later we’re over £57
Keep going!
I don’t think that the consequences of the US listing has been fully appreciated yet with a pe of only 13.5% and a dividend covered 4 times
CRH should be a constituent of every fund

Good to see we’ve hit 50 quid in London - high for the year and still a “buy”
Hope the results have at least one good reveal.
Per Bloomberg: "...... and some analysts believe that the switch opens the door for the company to be included in S&P and Russell indexes. Such events might happen in first half of next year, according to an August research note from Citigroup Inc."
