Thanks ceilingcat: Looks like the brokers will get investor's share certificates in the mail soon after May 15, 2017. What then? Will investors have to slug more money to get their worthless paper (share certificates...) mailed out to them?
Cloudspin, letter from Computershare in full: 22 March 2017 Dear Depositary Interest holder, Depositary Interests representing securities in Xcite Energy Limited (in Liquidation)("Company") ISIN: VGG9828A1194 The purpose of this letter is to give you notice of our intention to terminate the deed in which the Depositary Interests are constituted and indrectly held within the settlement system, CREST (the "Deed"). The termination of the Deed will take effect on 15 May 2017. Following receipt of notice from the Joint Liquidators of the Company detailing the liquidation of Xcite Energy Limited, the Joint Liquidators Mr ian Morton and Mr Chad Griffin have informed of us of a restriction under BVI law (section 175(1)(d) of the British Virgin Insolvency Act 2003) which prohibits any changes to the register of members without an order from the BVI Court. Subsequently, the above mentioned ISIN has been disabled, resulting in no deposits, withdrawls or movements within CREST. We will continue to hold the Depositary Interest records in a static state until the Company is wound up or the Court orders otherwise. Should you have any questions regarding the above, please visit the website of FTI Consulting. www.fticonsulting-emea.com/cip/xcite-energy-ltd. Yours sincerely, Kevan Botha Director Conputershare Investor Services PLC

"I now have you on permanent FILTER...." Which is presumably why you're now reading and replying to my posts on the URU board...
ceilingcat: This is interesting. When exactly will XEL shares be excluded from the CREST settlement system? What will happen next, will UK shareholders receive worthless share certificates in the mail?
Of course. How many times have you put me on filter now? Well informed long term holders of URU? Are you having a laugh? They haven't a clue and spout nonsense about needing volume for the price to rise, the share price is manipulated by MMs, imminent news (for several months now). Wouldn't want to be out of it over the weekend, etc., And like here, they pounce on anyone that has the temerity to question their substance free opinion that the price will rocket upwards. Not that I have, but taking a short position doesn't mean the price will fall anymore than buying shares is an indication the price will rise. And as you well know I held shares in Xcite as I went to two AGMs. I also received a letter from CREST this week informing me that my sole remaining share (more strictly, my sole remaining depositary interest) is going to be removed from their systems shortly. Shall I post a link to the letter or are you another one who refuses to accept evidence when presented with it?
ceilingcat: What a very sad individual you are. You are the one that never held a single share in XEL. If your so on the ball why didn't you post last week that he resigned. That's right , because you didn't know until yesterday. I also noticed you appeared on the URU BB the other day and slated all the well informed long term holders there. I take it you and your shorting chums have taken a position; a bit like what you did with XEL in 2014. At least I now know what you are all about. Got to wonder if you work alone or are part of a larger operation. Since you have shown your true identity as I suspected all along, don't bother replying to this post, I now have you on permanent FILTER....
