RYA being "unionised" now and paying more wages etc..They forget the Rostergate and strikes and general troubles the company has been through and still delivered 1Bill euros in profits.Fares are low across the board currently but rya has the low cost base and business model to sustain itself.I expect EZJ to deliver lower profits, probably much like 2 years ago. They will do ok.The few other competitors excepting Wizz are going to struggle if the POO heads up again for any length of time.I still maintain the POO is not sustainable over $80 but that would be too high for many.Going to be a year of grief for some travelers sadly.

passengers up yet again.13% and Lauda gained too.Load factor 96% is pretty impressive. As long as they are covering their already low cost base these figures may indicate further consolidation is on the way.I wonder who is next for the bad news.Possibly the current POO is saving a few.

But with rya's brokers buying loads every day...good luck to them. They can make .minimal profits but risk getting burnt if brexit goes through nicely..

TA view on RYA
31 May '19
This was posted elsewhere this week, so I better just summarise rather
than copy the post, remember this is just one person's opinion only :

A sideways move in RYA for another week or two, would set up a potential reversal at 62% of the 2008-17 rise at around 867,
if that fails look for another potential reversal just below 8.00, which is the 2014 breakout level.

Only if the later level fails, would a multi year H&S pattern come in to play - on this scenario no target was given.

There is another view that RYA made a double bottom part week below 10 - that view looks on the optimistic side
to me, but let's see, none of us possess the gift of prescience, unfortunately!.

Have a good weekend guys and as always please DYOR.

I`m sure someone will come up with the answer. Trust you to be unique! You may have a condition named after you soon..

yes shares crud but it will not last for ever.Trouble is with brit investors they forget the UK business is a small part of the whole.Europe will not stop flying although maybe the customer base might shift a bit.Money like energy does not vanish it just changes..
My electrician tells the earthing of the cottage does not pass regs so we can either start drilling holes and sink another earth outside or get the Electric supplier to connect the new installation/earth/back to the supply in the road.
Cost £158.. grrr..The painting and decorating continues. The weeds run riot, but the new spuds are delicious.

Horribly nervous for tomorrow`s game but optimistic we can win a one off game on the night.Pressure is on the favourites Liverpool.

Here`s hoping the eedioys in westminster can sort out the mess..lost count how many candidates there are now for prime minister.Never heard of half of them! brudy chaos.

hello mate, back out of Derriford again, 23 days this time but still no joy, eating/drinking with a tube but still cracking the jokes so not done yet. Hosp has reached out toother specialists for any clues - never good when 5 specilalist consultants say ti your face they are baffled despite doing 800 op's the same and never having this trouble before, apparantly i realy am unique lol.

Shares are shi7 again i see, wish id got some more wonga to chuck in, i think when the market turns and rises as it inevitably will there would be some substantial cash to makein lots andlots of sectors, meanwhile im down a few quid these days and turning into a divi collector - except here lol.

Hoped aboard the jet this morning, 8.80.
Very small amount.

Monitoring RYA, it's refusing to dip under 10 atm - fanout last words.

Interesting that
28 May '19
despite the long wait for EZJ next divi pay out and the long process of rya buying and cancelling their own shares the rya sp does not really respond upwards.Has not in the last two years anyway. No surge in the States either despite the depositary buy backs.Clearly punters playing games in the full knowledge RYA will be buying relentlessly.Certainly going to make a big dent in the overall circulation @ these prices!
I`m still waiting for ezj to drop into the 8`s to buy some.It may never happen of course but the clowns are still in the parliamentary circus ring. It`s easier to count how many Tories are NOT running for PM.

Sage, interesting, and yes I would agree that SP lows tend to be seen while news flow
is continuing to weaken - provided the company is sound financially.

TA is not my area at all, so could not even attempt a TA view. (If anyone else can would be interested to hear).

just to repeat my view
27 May '19
that the mkts tend to think ahead pessimistically so I`d expect any excrement to hit the Air con way before October.

After results yesterday very little has changed. There are a similar number of leavers and remainers and they have one vote each in whichever party they reside. If the BP contested an election..if there is one..they possibly could hold a big chunk of the commons but who could they combine with? The Labs and Cons would have been decimated so getting a leave deal through would depend, yet again on individuals
It was repeated time and time again that ALL greens and Lib dems are remainers. Not so according to one survey.
The Ukip vote is gone and will migrate to BP. It`s all a mess and there is no clear path unless the kids in the playpen are frightened of loosing their seats..or More frightened by it than they are of the 1922 committee and tory mafia.

Topping it all a brudy leadership battle with candidates that would fit right into the Simpsons..

I have freed up some cash for a buy either EZJ or RYA possibly tomorrow..?? The big vote for BP means no deal exit is entirely possible! You might not have to wait until October!

AS for Technicals ,not really into it.If everyone reads the same signals from a chart then...Whats the point?
I`d rather sit down and work out whats going to happen and see it in my minds eye as a movie or documentary.
Work it out from that.So far I`m seeing a lot of Horror and comedy genres..

RYA - technical analysis - two view
27 May '19
This is just out of interest and what follows are two views I've read over the last
week...make of it what you will:

The more bullish current view is that RYA last week made a double bottom
at just below 10 a share.

The second and less optimistic take (at least short term) is RYA is in the process of
a yet to be completed massive head and shoulders multi year pattern,
which would target somewhere under 8 a share.

On considering the second view on fundamentals....if the UK were to leave without a deal,
the risks of which are rapidly rising, and there followed a guidance cut, that type of level is possible.

I mentioned a few months ago that if the UK were to leave without a deal, the SP may start
with an 8, and I would stick with that view fwiw.

On either of the above views, there should be some very nice longer term upside.

All of the above represents guesstimates, nothing more. However, whatever your politics,
keeping some cash on hand for October time might be a good idea.
