At least your Broker had the decency to pass on the communication note.
I'm with Equiniti and they just removed Max from my portfolio. No reasons given. I've had a lot of trouble with them over the years. Very, very poor service.
From my broker today, for the final corporate action... on Max: Adios Max. "MAX PETROLEUM - Important Information Removal of shares. Important Information & Other Key Dates: Further to the cancellation of admission to trading of its Ordinary shares on the Alternative Investment Market (AIM) on 6th October 2015 and subsequent Liquidation of the Company in 2017, we have received notification that the Max Petroleum shares are no longer eligible to be held within the UK Settlement System. We have therefore removed the Max Petroleum shares from your account. Should we receive a distribution as a result of the administration of the Company, we will notify you at that time. Please note, however, that there can be no certainty that such a distribution will be made. Should you wish to find more information, please visit the Max Petroleum website, www.maxpetroleumplc.com/."
The ceos new message on the website ,he is taking up the (REER) approach,=Responsibility-Efectivness -Efficiency-Realiability (REER) shame they never took this approach before they made the old share holders Take it up the (REER)
Did you pm me? I can't read it, as I'm not a LSE member.
What you have to remember is this a new completely different company from the last one .looks like they have given There web site a new branding or face lift ,as people were getting confused that the same company that had gone Bust was still trading .it appears Aim you can do what you like and get away with ,no one to answer to ,no government Body that regulates or takes notice of these cons ,even the FCA could not care less .it disgusts me how the management here can get away with it and it sickens me that they can Keep trading under max petroleum with share holders money !
http://www.maxpetroleumplc.com/office.html How can you go to voluntary liquidation with such positive statements and a belief in human ethics
Nice try! Friday 4pm is Wine bar time with the residue of our cash. I;ve had zero acknowledgment of my email, so I believe there is really very little hope for our investment, and with no information forthcoming from the Company or anyone else we are still in Limbo. Not expecting any cash result but some form of closure would be nice! Better luck with other risks A T B Tio.
Now it's back up again. i rang the two numbers on the new website, but nobody available to take my call lol. Not surprising at 4pm on a Friday in London!
I wrote to them too, about 3 days ago. I now have a bit of free time, so was going to ring them, but their new website isn't loading up lol.

Out of the ashes
Keep looking here for news but need to move on and put this down to experience.
Re CVL ,not sure what would happen to existing shares ,but it would be a way for some one to access the aim market Poss in a reverse takeover, but if that were to be the case I think the dilution of shares would be so high They would be worth very little ,fingers crossed someday this has some positive outcome for the people left with such loses .
Dunno mate. I Googled what a CVL is and it's not really good news for shareholders. I am way out of my depth with all the legal stuff, but I think all we can hope for is they are wound up, then re-launch the Company. Existing shareholders can be involved with this, to what extent I'm not sure.
