Specs1,
Well that would mean your 6'3" in some five inch heels. So not very short in my book especially if your female.
Nice reply BTW glad to hear you've still got a sense on humour.
5'10" in my stockinged feet, Auson.
Specs1,
Are you still short ?
Specs1,
Ok and thats very admirable however you are short aren't you otherwise you wouldn't be posting only on 1 company.
Dignity crematoria are more expensive than EVERY other crematoria, whether local authority or private.
A price comparison site enables one to compare prices, I don't need to put millions into mastering the process!
I don't buy Dignity shares. I don't invest in anything unethical.
This is already known and should come as no surprise, privately run crematoriums charge more than local authority ones, this is a non story.
Your keen to show that Dignity charges more than others for cremations and funerals, the volumes of which have increased and you still expect poor interim results ??
You also seem to think that looking at some price comparison sites somehow makes you a better analyst that Phoenix Capital who have put £Millions into this.
Your short here is very risky. Take it or leave it. All the best.
Auson, you were looking at the burials. The cremation info is copied here: 10 most expensive places to be cremated in the UK
Crematorium Owner/Authority Location Price
Beckenham Dignity PLC London £999
Surrey & Sussex Dignity PLC Crawley £999
Randalls Park Dignity PLC Leatherhead £999
Heart of England Dignity PLC Nuneaton £999
Moray Dignity PLC Moray £999
Dundee Dignity PLC Dundee £999
Oxford Dignity PLC Oxford £999
The Counties Dignity PLC Northampton £999
Chichester Dignity PLC Chichester £999
Norwich Dignity PLC Norwich £989
The link to the price comparison site shows the lowest price offered by every funeral home, so it is a very good way to compare. Look at just how expensive the Dignity funeral homes are. (My name isn't James),
Specs1,
Well James I don't really call that figures as most of them are local authority so can't be compared like that.
The link to the price comparison site doesn't really show much at all just lowest advertised prices.
I would be careful if your short here as almost all of the professional shorters have closed ( and they are usually very patient and brave with other peoples money ) and there are A LOT of professional investors who have gone long here at around £10.
Yes, Auson, I do have facts and figures. Out of the 20 most expensive crematoria in the country, 19 are owned by Dignity. One source can be viewed at https://beyond.life/blog/2017-cremation-burial-cost-index/
Also look on this link to see how the Dignity owned funeral homes are the most expensive in any area of the UK: https://www.yourfuneralchoice.com/
Specs1,
What are you talking about, do you have any figures to back up your claim ?
Please stop being so judgemental, you know nothing about me and my experience with grief, funeral directors and crematoria. You are no better than me or anyone else.
Auson: they cannot help but find that Dignity's prices are way above everyone else's and that they operate monopolies keeping funeral costs exorbitantly high. The facts and figures speak for themselves - it is not just an opinion I am holding, they are the facts!
Perhaps you think more about lining your own pocket than how much the grief-stricken are being fleeced.
Specs1,
So you know what the CMA's finding are going to be now do tell ?
No, they're not listening. Wait till the CMA completes its findings and Dignity has to desist from their daylight robbery.
14:52 - 05/07 Buy 65000 1,000.00p £650,000.00
13:18 - 05/07 Buy 50000 1,000.00p £500,000.00
Looks like these guys aren't listening to your warnings and so neither should anyone else.
I warned you to sell! Google 'The Reaper Calls for Dignity' if you are still yet to be convinced that Dignity's days off ripping off the bereaved are numbered.
