Loving that presentation! Well done MC! It's almost tempting fate to say it but it does feel like we're almost there with the permits, let's get this bird over that line! With regards to how the share price will react well as always I'm bracing myself, as I view the macro conditions are controlling our fate here. I would love a re-rate but we really need more investment money coming into the sector. With rates starting to rise and central banks looking like they are starting to back off in the markets it could be the start of markets returning to something like normal, that would bode extremely well for us. Oh and if AF's prediction is wrong then he's buying the first round at the 28p party :D
Thanks goneawol.........and must add at least ninety percent of locals want it to go ahead. Most positive MC presentation I've seen re permits. And he speaks more about business beyond permitting which I like. So soon we'll have it, then re-rate to £1 to £1.20, more drilling to 3-5m oz all the while the sp reflects this.......or an acceptable predator arrives. Aimho
.. sub 40p would be absolutely delicious... Hmmm, not sure about that..price is being squeezed and sub 40p would be a breakout to the downside installing more doubt on the technical side. I`d prefer to see a 43p low with a gradual gain from there backing up what appears to be much confidence by MC in his presentation. It would also stay within the rising trend line with its origin being just over 2 years ago. I know some will say `we`ve been confident for years`...but this does sound like the Nicaraguan Govt are keen to get this ball rolling asap, where as before they knew they couldn`t sign permits without major issues regarding the locals. The World bank want it to go ahead, the British Ambassador wants it to go ahead, Jim Mellon, Ross Beaty, and Mark Childs want it too. The Nicaraguan Govt want it to go ahead, the locals that will benefit...some multiplying earnings...want it....and of course US SHAREHOLDERS WANT IT!!!! All we need is the permits...and for the Toronto Stock Exchange to want a rerate! Then we`ll be off to the races.
Thanks for the link.. British Ambassador in Nicaragua now getting involved.. plus visits to La India from 3 nicaraguan ministries.. some interesting points there that I hadnt heard yet.. definitely more positive. Has anyone thought of a forfeit for AF yet if his timescales dont pan out? :-) frenchie - i share your thoughts entirely - imagine if CNR gets the public consultation over, and then the permits arrive, and the SP doesnt move significantly higher! I have to say I would seriously question the logic of an investment here if that happens!! If it did - the only other thing left to act as an SP catalyst would be for a significant interest to come from outside i.e B2Gold or A.N.Other - news of a JV or investment (say a further $5M cash injection for BFS funds for example) - with a permitted mine that would become altogether much more likely... Or (please, please, please) just news of a straight buyout... Its hard to keep the faith when you see the SP dropping like this and the complete lack of interest on the TSX and AIM - makes you question yourself as to whether you are just missing something here... But then, if i have missed something then so has Jim Mellon and Ross Beaty... surely not!!! regards T123 PS We are getting down to a level where I think a few more new ISA buys are becoming seriously appropriate... nice timing too for a change.. sub 40p would be absolutely delicious...
thx gw every time I hear these presentations Im optimistic again and in the end MC will deliver .... no doubt the problem is that all the years waiting and waiting and waiting .... have stretched everyones patience all will come good ommmmmmmmmmmm......
Thanks goneawol. Having watched the latest presentation, Im with Andrew that we are close to getting the permits, maybe before the 7 weeks is up. As said before, lots going on in the background to get things moving. I just hope MC is right when he says a mine with permits becomes very valuable; many of us wanting to see a sustained rerate on news when it happens.
