VTB disposes controlling stakes in 11 alcoholic beverage producers

Today VTB bank announced the sale of controlling stakes in 11 alcoholic beverage producers which had been obtained by bank in October 2009 in resolution of an outstanding debt from the state-owned alcohol production holding Rosspirtprom.  Specifically, the bank disposed 51% stakes in Moscow-based alcoholic beverage producer Cristall and 10 regional producers including Astrakhan Distillery, Bahus, Bryanskspirtprom, Velikoustyugskiy Distillery, Itkoul Distillery, Lyuks, Mordovspirt, Penzaspirtprom, Cherepovetsky LVZ and Yaroslavskiy Distillery.
