International Petroleum Investment Company PJSC - Update on Settlement with 1MDB and MoF Inc.

Further to the announcement of 1 August 2017 (RNS Number 7196M), International Petroleum Investment Company PJSC (IPIC) have granted the Minister of Finance (Incorporated) Malaysia (MoF Inc.) and 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) until 31 August 2017 to complete the performance of the payment obligations of MoF Inc. and 1MDB that were due to be performed by 31 July 2017 under the Settlement and the Consent Award and to pay default interest on the delayed payment (Full Amount Due). This extension is subject to MoF Inc. and 1MDB making payment of not less than US$310,000,000 of the Full Amount Due on or before 12 August 2017.
