Update on Requisition Notice

The Board of Nyota Minerals Limited (ASX/AIM: NYO) (Nyota) refers to its announcement of 1 March 2016 and advises that it has obtained legal advice in respect to the letter from Fiske Nominees Limited requesting that a general meeting be convened to consider resolutions to:

(a) remove Mr Richard Chase and Mr Michael Langoulant as Directors of Nyota and any Nyota group company; and

(b) appoint Mr Jonathan Morley-Kirk and Mr Andrew Wright as Directors of Nyota.

Based on legal advice it has obtained, Nyota has advised Fiske Nominees Limited that the letter, which purports to be a notice under section 249D of the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth) (Act), is invalid in the form presented and has requested that it be provided with a valid notice that complies with the Act.

Upon receipt of a valid notice, Nyota will comply with its obligations under the Act and will make a further announcement as appropriate.
