"Chime" or "the Company"

Chime announces that the Chime Communications plc Employee Trust ("the Trust") has purchased 279,548 ordinary shares of the Company at an average price of 178 pence per share; the purchase was settled on the 7th September 2011. The shares were purchased by the Trust to meet its continuing obligations under the Chime Communications plc Co-Investment Plan 2010 as approved by shareholders on 12th May 2010.
