Employee Trust Share Purchase

Chime announces that on 19 March 2009 the Chime Communications plc Employee Trust ("the Trust") purchased 55,030 ordinary shares of the Company at 63.85 pence per share. The shares were purchased by the Trust for the purpose of satisfying awards under the Chime Communications plc Deferred Share Plan as approved by the Board on 4 May 2006. The Executive Directors are not eligible for grants under the Scheme.
