TRANSFER OF SHARES HELD IN TREASURY Halma p.l.c. announces that on 4 October 2007 it transferred 6,160 ordinaryshares held by the Company in Treasury to a former employee of the Halma Groupin satisfaction of his award under the Company's Performance Share Plan. Following the above transfer, the Company holds 1,175,475 ordinary shares inTreasury. The total number of ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasuryshares) is 372,808,897.
