Transaction in own shares/TVR

The Company announces that it bought back for cancellation 20,000 ordinary shares at 140p per share yesterday (26 June 2008), and today (27 June 2008) it bought back for cancellation 200,000 ordinary shares at 135p per share pursuant to the Company's general authority to buy its own shares.

Following this transaction, there are 92,786,577 ordinary shares and 58,306 preference shares in issue. The preference shares do not carry voting rights therefore for the purposes of the FSA Disclosure and Transparency Rules the total number of voting rights in the Company is 92,786,577.

The above total voting figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine whether they are required to notify their interests in, or change to their interest in, Tottenham Hotspur PLC under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
