HALFORDS GROUP PLC: PURCHASE OF OWN SHARES
Halfords Group PLC announces that on 12 September 2008 it purchased for cancellation 9,864 of its ordinary shares at a price of 274.9866p per ordinary share.
Following the above purchase, the Company have now bought back 22,455,510 shares for cancellation, since the 8 June 2006 when the buy back programme commenced.
