TRANSACTION IN OWN SHARES

On 4 June 2015 Standard Life European Private Equity Trust plc (the "Company") purchased for cancellation 50,000 ordinary shares of 0.2p each at a price of 217.31p per share.

Therefore, the total number of shares with voting rights in the Company is 157,247,294.

The above figure (157,247,294) may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
