Laura Ashley Holdings plc announces that on 2 July 2008, the Company purchased 60,000 of its ordinary shares of 5 pence each at an average price of 0.19993 pence per share.
The purchased shares will be held as treasury shares. Following the above purchase, the Company holds 18,272,500 ordinary shares in treasury, and has 727,762,868 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
