Wilmington Group Plc12 September 2007 Wilmington Group plc Transactions in own shares Wilmington Group PLC announces that it has today purchased through NumisSecurities Limited 21,500 ordinary shares at an average price of 233.825 penceper share. The highest price and lowest price paid for these shares were 236pence and 233 pence respectively. The purchased shares will all be held astreasury shares. Following the above purchase, the Company holds 341,500 ordinary shares inTreasury and has a total of 83,814,679 ordinary shares (excluding shares held inTreasury) in issue.
