Transaction in Own Shares

Central Asia Metals plc (AIM:CAML), announces that on 21 November 2012 it purchased 22,000 of its ordinary shares at an average price of 92.5 pence per ordinary share. The highest price and the lowest price paid for these shares was 93 pence and 92 pence respectively. All the purchased shares will be held as Treasury shares.

Following the above purchase, the Company holds 1,057,031 ordinary shares as Treasury shares. The total number of ordinary shares in issue is 85,108,903 (excluding ordinary shares held as treasury shares).
