Purchase of Own Shares

Laura Ashley Holdings plc announces that on 12 June 2008, it purchased 50,000 of its ordinary shares of 5 pence each at an average price of 23.0 pence per share.

The purchased shares will be held as treasury shares. Following the above purchase, Laura Ashley Holdings plc holds 18,112,500 ordinary shares in treasury, and has 727,922,868 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
