Transaction in Own Shares - Amendment
20 July 2012
Following the transactions in own shares announcement released by Ashmore Global Opportunities Limited (the "Company") on 16 July 2012, RNS - 7882H, the Company announces that the incorrect number of shares were stated. The total number of shares purchased were as follows:
·; 10,000 ordinary shares of no par value in the capital of the Company designated as Sterling Shares ("Sterling shares") at a price of GBP5.38 per Sterling share.
·; 5,000 ordinary shares of no par value in the capital of the Company designated as US Dollar Shares ("US Dollar shares") at a price of USD5.3968 per US Dollar share.
These shares are held as treasury shares.
The total number of treasury shares and shares in issue were therefore as follows:
