HALFORDS GROUP PLC: PURCHASE OF OWN SHARES
Halfords Group PLC announces that on 22 May 2008 it purchased for cancellation 75,000 of its ordinary shares at a price of 279.50p per ordinary share.
Following the above purchase, the Company have now bought back 22,075,986 shares for cancellation, since the 8 June 2006 when the buy back programme commenced.
