Transaction in own shares

The Company announces that on 20 April 2009 it purchased 200,000 ordinary shares of 10 pence each in the Company ('Ordinary Shares') at a price of 400 pence per share. The shares will be held in Treasury. The purchase equates to approximately 1.7% of the issued share capital of the Company consisting of 11,893,559 Ordinary Shares with voting rights.

Following the purchase, the Company holds 200,000 shares in Treasury.
