HALFORDS GROUP PLC: PURCHASE OF OWN SHARES
Halfords Group PLC announces that on 20 January 2012 it purchased, through Investec Bank PLC, 13,500 of its ordinary shares for cancellation at a price of 304.2225 pence per share. The highest price paid was 305.90 pence per share and the lowest price paid was 303.00 pence per share.
Following the above purchase, the Company has now bought back 11,784,493 shares for cancellation and 5,449,620 for transfer into treasury, since 7 April 2011 when the buy back programme commenced.
