Market Purchase by the Company of its own Ordinary Shares

Dunedin Enterprise Investment Trust PLC hereby gives notification that, pursuant to the authority granted at the Annual General Meeting of the Company held on 19 September 2007 to make market purchases of the Company's own shares, a market purchase of 5,000 ordinary shares of 25p each of the Company was made on 9 May 2008 at a price of 390.72p.

Following the purchase and cancellation of the above shares, 30,192,902 ordinary shares of 25p each will remain in issue.
