Transaction in Own Shares

The Board of Baronsmead Venture Trust plc announces that on 30 March 2016 the Company purchased 1,780,000 ordinary shares of 10p at a price of 94.125 pence per share to be held in Treasury.

Following the share buyback, the Company's issued ordinary share capital consists of 184,124,685 shares of which 13,743,819 shares are held in Treasury. Therefore the total number of shares in circulation which hold voting rights in Baronsmead VCT plc is 170,380,866 ordinary shares of 10p. Each share has one voting right.
