Transaction in Own Shares

The Company announces that it has today purchased 212,500 of its Ordinary shares at 707.3765 pence per share to be held in treasury.

Following this purchase the issued share capital of the Company is 112,875,331 Ordinary shares, of which 2,883,991 are held in treasury. Therefore the total number of Ordinary shares with voting rights in the Company is 109,991,340.

For reporting purposes under the Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure and Transparency Rules, shareholders should use the figure 109,991,340 when determining if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in the Company.
