HALFORDS GROUP PLC: PURCHASE OF OWN SHARES
Halfords Group PLC announces that on 17 January 2012 it purchased, through Investec Bank PLC, 175,000 of its ordinary shares for cancellation at a price of 298.5214 pence per share. The highest price paid was 300.0 pence per share and the lowest price paid was 290.90 pence per share.
Following the above purchase, the Company has now bought back 11,665,413 shares for cancellation and 5,449,620 for transfer into treasury, since 7 April 2011 when the buy back programme commenced.
