Transaction in own shares

Kingspan Group plc, the leading manufacturer of a range of sustainable products for the construction industry, announces that on 26 June 2008 it purchased 300,000 of its own ordinary shares through its broker Goodbody, at an average price of EUR6.10 per share.

The highest price paid was EUR6.18 per share (excluding expenses) and the lowest price paid was EUR5.97 (excluding expenses). All the purchased shares will be held as Treasury Shares.

Following the above purchase, the Company holds 2,873,750 Ordinary Shares in Treasury. 

The Company has 168,277,787 Ordinary Shares in issue (excluding Treasury Shares). The above figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
