Headlam Group PLC15 August 2007 Transaction in Own Shares Headlam Group plc ('Headlam') announces that on 14 August 2007, it purchased 52,267 of its ordinary shares at a price of 560 pence per ordinary share which are to be held as treasury shares. Following the above purchase and transfer into treasury, the total number of Headlam ordinary shares in issue (excluding the total of 1,434,163 ordinary shares now held in treasury) is 84,399,580.
