HALFORDS GROUP PLC: PURCHASE OF OWN SHARES
Halfords Group PLC announces that on 22 September 2011 it purchased, through Investec Bank PLC, 227,887 of its ordinary shares for cancellation at a price of 294.7584 pence per share. The highest price paid was 298.3 pence per share and the lowest price paid was 290.6 pence per share.
Following the above purchase, the Company has now bought back 8,139,183 shares for cancellation and 5,449,620 for transfer into treasury, since 7 April 2011 when the buy back programme commenced.
