The Company announces that on 4 September 2018 it purchased 160,000 of its ordinary shares of 5p each ("Shares") through UBS, in accordance with the authority granted by shareholders at the Company's Annual General Meeting on 6 September 2017.

Highest price paid per Share: 3635p

Lowest price paid per Share: 3507p

Volume weighted average price paid per Share: 3591.1988p

The Company intends to hold the purchased Shares in Treasury.

Following the purchase of these Shares, the Company holds 8,806,423 of its Shares in Treasury and has 131,350,760 Shares in issue (excluding Treasury Shares). This is the figure which should be used by shareholders as the denominator when determining whether they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in the Company under the Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
