Trading Update
Goals, the market leader in outdoor small-sided soccer centres with 47 sites, including one in California, USA, announces a trading update for the year ended 31 December 2015, in advance of the release of the Company's Final Results on 14 March 2016.
Trading for the year was in-line with revised market expectations as set out in the Goals update of 9 November1. Sales for the year were £32.9m (2014: £34.7m) with UK like-for-like sales of -7%.
Our US business has again delivered strong growth with sales for the year up 9%. Keith Rogers will relocate to the US to become President of the US business in February 2016. A search for a new Group Chief Executive is underway.
