Felix Group PLC21 December 2005 21 December 2005 Felix Group plc ("the Group") Update on development of new multifunction ATM On 14 September 2005, the Group announced that it was developing a new cashdispensing machine - incorporating its revolutionary new sales promotionmechanic called Everyone's A Winner ("EAW") and indicated that it was intendingto commence the roll out of prototype machines in time for this Christmas. The prototypes have now been built and as part of the proof of concept pilotdisclosed in September the first machines have been installed in certain PunchTaverns pubs and PowerHouse retail stores this week. The new live broadband machines will enable customers to withdraw cash and playthe EAW game. When customers only withdraw cash, they will receive a rewardequivalent to at least twice the fee for using the cash withdrawal service. The Group announced its intention to roll out 10,000 of the new machines acrossthe UK and this will start in earnest in the second quarter of next year. Discussions in connection with the banking service provisions continue and theGroup will report further on this as soon as possible.
