Jarvis Securities plc12 January 2006 Jarvis Securities plc ('the Company') Trading Update On 17 November 2005, the Company announced that it had won two contracts toprovide Model B equity settlement services including one with Daniel Stewart &Company plc ("Daniel Stewart"). Daniel Stewart has since notified the Companythat, following a review of its system requirements, it has decided to defer anydecision and to remain with its current equity settlement provider for the timebeing. The Company anticipates a full-year operating profit before exceptional items tobe approximately £650,000. The Company proposes a first interim dividend, for the year ending 31st December2006, of 1.5 pence per share payable on 17 February 2006 to all shareholders onrecord as at 20 January 2006.
