As at 29 September 2008, Hampson Industries PLC's capital consists of 158,634,996 ordinary shares with voting rights. No ordinary shares are held in Treasury.

Therefore, the total number of voting rights in the Company is 158,634,996

The above figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, ordinary shares of Hampson Industries PLC under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
