In conformity with the Disclosure Rules and Transparency Rules, Thomas Cook Group plc, now notifies the market of the following:

Since the notification made on 31 March 2008 of the issued share capital of Thomas Cook Group plc, Thomas Cook Group plc's issued share capital has decreased to 958,842,063 ordinary shares of €0.10 with voting rights. This figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine whether they are required to notify their interesting, or change to their interest in, Thomas Cook Group plc under the Disclosure Rules and Transparency Rules.

Thomas Cook Group plc does not hold any shares in treasury.
