Jersey Electricity Company Limited27 December 2006 The Jersey Electricity Company Limited Voting Rights and Capital In conformity with the Transparency Directive's transitional provision 6, TheJersey Electricity Company Limited (the "Company") notifies the market of thefollowing: The Company's issued share capital consists of: 582,000 'A' ordinary shares with 116,400 voting rights950,000 ordinary shares with 950,000 voting rights234,760 preference shares with 33,476 voting rights Therefore, the total number of voting rights in the Company is 1,099,876. Only the 'A' ordinary shares are traded on regulated or prescribed markets. No shares are held in treasury. The above figure (1,099,876) may be used by shareholders as the denominator forthe calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notifytheir interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the FSA'sDisclosure and Transparency Rules.
