Total Voting Rights and Capital

In conformity with Regulation 20 of the Transparency (Directive 2004/109/EC) Regulations 2007, Dragon Oil plc today announces the following:

As at 31 August 2011, Dragon Oil plc's issued share capital consisted of 516,017,778 ordinary shares (with a par value of 0.10 euro each) with voting rights. No ordinary shares are held in treasury.

Therefore, the total number of voting rights in Dragon Oil plc is 516,017,778.

This information may be used by shareholders for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Dragon Oil plc under the Transparency (Directive 2004/109/EC) Regulations 2007 and the Transparency Rules.
