Phytopharm PLC05 February 2008 5 February 2008 In accordance with the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules sourcebooktransitional provision 6, Phytopharm plc ("Phytopharm") hereby notifies themarket of the following: Phytopharm's issued share capital at 31 January 2008 consisted of 55,610,731ordinary shares with voting rights. The Company did not, at that date, hold anyshares in Treasury, and therefore, the total number of ordinary shares in theCompany with voting rights was 55,610,731. The above figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for thecalculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify theirinterest in, or a change to their interest in, Phytopharm plc under the FSA'sDisclosure and Transparency Rules.
