Opening Pre-Orders on 12 November for subsequent launch

Motive Television PLC, the technology provider to broadcasters and pay television operators, is pleased to announce that Tablet TV LLC, the joint venture between Motive and Granite Broadcasting Corporation, will begin taking pre-orders for TabletTV Plus at one minute past midnight EST on Thursday 12 November. TabletTV Plus will initially be available for iOS tablets only.

As TPod supplies will be limited before Christmas, customers will be able to join the pre-order queue to avoid disappointment.

On 8 October 2015 the Company announced its plans to launch TabletTV Plus in mid 4th quarter, and the opening of pre-sales is in anticipation of this launch. The exact date for the launch will be announced once the new App has completed review and approval by the Apple App Store.

TabletTV Plus features a new user interface and design as well as new capabilities including the availability of all broadcast channels and internet-delivered channels and services that can be viewed on tablets and main screen televisions using Apple TV Airplay or Google Chromecast.

TabletTV existing features such as time-shifting through use of Motive's software-based PVR and social networking are augmented with new capabilities such as split screen viewing, surfing the internet while watching TV, and sharing of TPod tuners within the household or among friends.

Existing TabletTV US customers are able to upgrade to Plus with no additional cost. New users can get TabletTV for a one time purchase without continuing monthly subscription obligations. Some of the internet services that users may access have their own subscription requirements.

The US launch of TabletTV Plus will be followed in a short time by the availability of the new platform in the United Kingdom.
