Change of accounting reference date

Suspension of trading

Indian Restaurants Group Plc ("IRGP" or "the Company") announces that it is changing the Company's accounting reference date from 30 September to 30 March. The Company's next audited accounts will therefore be for the 18 month period ending 30 March 2011. Because the timing of the change in its accounting reference date the Company will not be able to comply with AIM Rules 18 and 19 in relation to the publication of interim accounts and annual audited accounts respectively. Therefore trading in the Company's shares on AIM will be suspend with immediate effect. The suspension will last until such time as the audited accounts for the period ending 30 March 2011 are published.

The Company will be announcing today its unaudited results for the 12 month period to 30 September 2010.
