STATEMENT RE. SHARE PRICE MOVEMENT
SRT notes the increase in the Company's share price and announces that on 31 July 2014 the United States Coast Guard stated that the Final Rule regarding the expansion of the existing requirements for commercial vessels to install and operate an AIS transceiver is now under E.O. 12886 Regulatory Review at the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs. This is stated to be the final review prior to the publication of the rule, which is currently scheduled for December 2014.
Due to the large number of vessels that are expected to be affected by the pending legislation, the publication of the rule would represent a significant potential opportunity for SRT.
