Realisation of investment in Tottel Publishing Limited

The Board of The Income & Growth VCT plc is pleased to announce that the Ordinary Share Fund of the Company has fully realised its investment in Tottel Publishing, the specialist publisher of legal and tax titles. Tottel Publishing was sold to the Bloomsbury Publishing Group returning proceeds to the Company of £2.05 million over the life of the investment, compared to an original cost of £514,800.

The £0.11 million excess of proceeds above the Half-Yearly valuation of £1.5 million is equivalent to a 0.32 p increase in the Company's net asset value.

The Board intends to make the next announcement of the Company's unaudited net asset value in the Interim Management Statement for the quarter ended 30 June 2009 which is due to be released by mid August 2009.
