BMR notes the announcement this morning by Galileo Resources PLC of positive results from three of its first four drill holes in its current drilling programme at the Large Scale Prospecting Licence 19653 - HQ - LPL ("Star Zinc"). As announced on 23 February 2018, BMR retains a 15% interest in Star Zinc.

Kabwe

BMR also confirms that its appeal against the notice of cancellation of its Mining Right No. 7081-HQ-SML, in respect of its Kabwe asset, will be submitted today.

As a result of the extension of the deadline for the joint venture with Jubilee Metals Group PLC ("Jubilee") announced yesterday, BMR has agreed with Jubilee to extend from 28 February to 31 March 2018 the date by which it undertakes to terminate the facility agreement and the off-take agreement with African Compass International Limited, which were announced on 1 August 2016.
